- 15% discount is applied to all blinds automatically during the blind configuration process (before blinds are added to the shopping cart).
- If 3 blinds of any type are placed in the cart then the lowest priced blind of the 3 will be half price (i.e 50% of the discounted price).
- The offer works in multiples of 3, e.g if 3, 4 or 5 blinds are ordered then the lowest priced blind in the cart will be half price, if 6, 7 or 8 blinds are ordered, then the 2 lowest priced blinds in the cart will be half price and so on.

Key terms of trade
The most important points to note are:
•You are responsible for the measurement of the blinds.
•Measurements for roller blinds in particular require an allowance to be made for operating clearances.
•Because our blinds are made to measure you have no automatic right to cancel.
•You must check the Order Confirmation carefully to ensure that the manufacturing measurements are correct; this is particularly important where the order has been taken over the telephone.
•For an extra payment you can protect yourself against making measurement errors.
•Prices quoted on the website include VAT, but exclude delivery: the delivery cost is shown at the checkout.
•You should retain all packaging & instructions until you have fitted the blinds.
•You have 30 days to report a fault with the blinds.
•Once your order has been delivered we will only contact you for marketing purposes if you have given your consent to such contact.
1.1. In these conditions:
1.1.1. "Contract" means the contract, comprising these conditions, for supply of blinds;
1.1.2. "we"/"us"/"our" mean Electra Powered Blinds, a trading division of The Appeal Group Limited, a company registered in England with number 3668340, with registered office at 6 Vale Lane, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 5SD and registered for VAT purposes with number 720 9054 56;
1.1.3. "Website" means electrablinds.co.uk.
1.1.4. "you" / "your" mean the Consumer submitting an order for Goods;
1.1.5. "Consumer" means any customer who is purchasing outside the course of his or her business or trade;
1.1.6. "blinds" means the made to measure blinds, motors, controls and ancillary products to be supplied by us as noted in the Order;
1.1.7. "Order" means the order through the relevant page on the Website by you for the Goods accepted by us in our Order Confirmation;
1.1.8. "Order Confirmation" means our email to you confirming the Order;
1.2. These conditions form the entire understanding between you and us and supersede any prior promises, representations (unless fraudulent) or undertakings.
1.3. We may phone, text or email you in relation to your order from us
1.4. By accepting the Contract you are confirming that you are a Consumer.
2. Your Order for blinds
2.1. The Order shall be as set out in our Order Confirmation. The Contract for the purchase by you and sale by us of the Goods shall be formed upon the later of the time upon which we send our Order Confirmation or the receipt by us of payment in full from you for the blinds.
2.2. We cannot accept the return of any made to measure blinds or ancillary products because the measurements provided were incorrect. Your blinds will be manufactured according to the measurements you provide in your Order, so it is very important that your measurements are accurate as there is no right to cancel the order once placed.
2.3. You are advised to read the measuring instructions and watch the related videos on our website if you would like further guidance on how to take the required measurements accurately.
2.4. If you realise that you have made an error when placing your order, please telephone our customer services team on 0800 018 4499 as soon as possible. It may be possible to cancel your Order and for a full refund to be made so long as the products are not in the process of being manufactured. Once manufacture has started we will not allow any cancellation or changes to the order.
2.5. If you place your order by telephone, we will not accept any claim that there has been an error in keying your telephone order. Accordingly, we strongly recommend that you carefully check that the Order Confirmation details are correct and advise us immediately if you think anything is incorrect.
2.6. Blinds are manufactured to a tolerance of +/- 3mm in width and drop. Blinds made to these tolerances will be considered as meeting the specification as set out in the Order Confirmation.
2.7. For roller blinds, we have to allow for fittings at either end of the blind. This means the actual fabric of a roller blind is approximately 3.7cm less than the overall blind width. Where a blind is specified to fit inside a recess, we will deduct 1.0cm from the overall width measurement provided to ensure the blind fits comfortably in the recess. This means that for a roller blind fitting inside a recess there will be a gap of approximately 2.4cm between the edge of the fabric and the side of the recess. We recommend that you double check that the fabric width will cover the glazed area of your window before you place your order.
3. Mismeasure Protection
3.1. For an extra 10% per blind, payable when you order your blinds, we will protect your measurements against mistakes. To make a claim on the mismeasurement protection:
3.1.1. The mismeasurement protection option must have been paid for in respect of all the blinds in your Order;
3.1.2. You have 14 days from receipt of the blinds to inform us of any revised measurements for the blinds;
3.1.3. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the blinds to us.
3.1.4. The product type and the colour of the replacement blinds must be the same as the mismeasured blinds being replaced;
3.1.5. If the replacement blind(s) are bigger than the mismeasured blinds then we will charge the difference between the price of the mismeasured blinds and the replacement blinds;
3.1.6. The replacement blinds will only be dispatched once the mismeasured blinds have been returned to us;
3.1.7. The mismeasure protection covers the free replacement of the mismeasured blinds once only.
4. Price and payment
4.1. All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of VAT but are exclusive of the cost of delivery which will be added at the checkout page of the Website.
4.2. Payment of the purchase price for the blinds, including the delivery charge, is due before delivery of the blinds.
5. Delivery of the blinds
5.1. We cannot accept Orders for blinds to be delivered to addresses outside of the United Kingdom.
5.2. Ownership of the Products will pass to you and the blinds will be at your risk once the blinds have been delivered to the address noted in the Order Confirmation.
5.3. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, any delivery date specified by us in any Order or otherwise is a best estimate only and we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage sustained by you if we fail to meet that time scale because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5.4. We recommend that you retain the packaging that your blinds are delivered in until you have fitted your blinds, so that in the event that any blinds need to be returned to us, you can re-use our packaging.
6. Guarantee for the Goods
6.1. We guarantee that the Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery of the blinds. In addition, we guarantee the motor of your blind, any controls and accessories for 3 years from the date of delivery.
6.2. Should any defect in material or workmanship occur within the guarantee period after the date of delivery, the relevant blinds can be returned to us, we will examine the blinds. If the blinds are defective, we shall either repair or replace the defective blinds free of any charge for labour or materials (always providing that the Goods have not been subject to any mis-use or modification) and refund the cost of your return postage. If the blinds are not defective we will return the blinds to you, but not refund the cost of your postage.
6.3. The guarantee provided shall not apply where: the relevant fault or defect has been caused by your misuse (including the blind being lowered onto an obstruction), fitting and/or neglect of the blinds or by accidents caused while the blinds are in your possession; and/or in relation to the blinds, the fault or defect was apparent on a reasonable inspection which you did not notify to us within 30 days from delivery or supply by us.
6.4. Every attempt will be made by us to ensure that the blinds supplied match in every respect any images or narrative descriptions provided on the Website, although minor colour variations may occur between different items, although this will not affect their functionality. Any such minor variation between samples or the description and the blinds delivered shall not entitle you to reject the blinds, nor to withhold or reduce payment of the purchase price, nor claim any compensation for such variation or change.
7. Limitation of liability
7.1. We will not be liable to you by way of representation (unless fraudulent), common law duty or under any express or implied term of the contract for:
7.1.1. any losses which are not foreseeable by both parties when the Contract is formed arising in connection with the supply of blinds or their use by you;
7.1.2. any losses which are not caused by any breach by us;
7.1.3. business or trade losses (including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of business and loss of reputation); or
7.1.4. any failure by you to give us correct measurements for the blinds (see condition 2.3 above).
7.2. Subject to condition 6.3, our entire liability in connection with the Contract will not exceed the purchase price of the blinds in question.
7.3. Nothing in this Contract excludes or limits our liability for:
7.3.1. death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or subcontractors;
7.3.2. liability for damage to property or injury to persons under the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
7.3.3. fraud; or
7.3.4. any other matter that we cannot by law exclude or restrict.
8. Delay or failure to perform
8.1. We shall not be liable to you if we are prevented or delayed in the performing of any obligations to you if this is due to any cause beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation: an act of God, explosion, flood, fire or accident; war or civil disturbance; strike, industrial action or stoppages of work; any form of government intervention; a third party act or omission; failure by you to give us a correct delivery address or notify us of any change of address.
9.1. No waiver by us of any breach of the Contract by you is considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
9.2. Each provision of this Contract shall be construed separately and notwithstanding that the whole or any part of any such provision may prove to be illegal or unenforceable the other provisions of this Contract and the remainder of the provision in question shall continue in full force and effect.
9.3. As a consumer, there are certain terms implied into your contract with us which we cannot exclude or limit. It is important for you to know that nothing in these terms affects these statutory rights.
9.4. We collect information about you to process your order efficiently. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Further we will not pass your details on to any third party without your express permission.
9.5. This Contract is governed by the laws of England.
